One of the leading retailers in the world, Wal-Mart announced that by January 2005, it will require its top 100 suppliers to use radio frequency identification (RFID) tags bearing electronic product codes (EPCs) on pallets and cases in all shipments. Naturetech's Proso 2000, the Portable UNIX Server and 888P Portable UNIX Workstation have been displayed as their RFID hardware.
